Courtland Center is the second largest shopping center within Genesee County located near the center of Michigan’s lower peninsula, 60 miles northwest of Detroit and just southeast of Flint. The property consists of 45.6 acres improved with a 458,729 SF enclosed, single-story mall building and parking lots. Originally built in 1968, the mall was renovated in 1986 and was expanded in 1998. Anchor tenants include Old Navy, JC Penney, and a six-screen theater. Staples recently signed a new lease to occupy 20,000 sf and Joann Fabrics recently expanded their space by 14,000 sf for a total area of 26,000 sf.
