Le Meridien/Conrad Hilton Hotel

Le Meridien / Conrad Hilton is one of Chicago’s finer hotels and is renowned for its graciously appointed guestrooms and sophisticated ambience.  As a result of its superior amenities, services, and meeting space, the hotel is well-equipped to accommodate any market segment, from corporate gatherings to weekend leisure travel.  Opened in 2001 as a Le Meridien hotel, the 311-room property includes 33 suites with terraces offering lake and city views, two fine dining restaurants that seat 128 people, a terrace bar, a 24-hour fitness center, and 12,742 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space with a 3,300 square foot ballroom.  Guests enter the 17-story hotel through ground level lobby located on North Rush Street, from which they are transported via high-speed elevator to a dramatic sky lobby on the fifth floor.  The hotel was constructed in the former McGraw-Hill Building and retains its original Art Deco façade, which has been granted landmark status.

Upon acquisition of this property, ownership initiated a complete repositioning of the hotel by rebranding it as a Conrad Hotel (Hilton’s upscale luxury brand), which will also operate and manage the property.  This change is expected to significantly enhance the guest experience -- providing new levels of exemplary service, contemporary décor and luxurious amenities, synonymous with Conrad hotels worldwide. In addition, special attention will be paid to infusing the hotel with Chicago's rich cultural and artistic flavor.
